Work with us: Brunch chef AND Barista at Glastonbury Festival

We are looking for someone to help with brunch at weekends, and prep during the week for 2-3 days/week including weekends. You'll be making french toast, pancakes, topping waffles and be able to make a sliced avo look pretty.


We also have an opportunity for a friendly barista to join our festival team for our stall at Glastonbury 26th June - 1st July, serving hot chocolate, coffee, iced mochas and cakes. Barista experience essential, festival experience preferable.


BRUNCH CHEF

We are a small team, you will need to be confident with being by yourself in the kitchen, able to manage multiple orders and comfortable with being your own KP.

Although the job is mostly in the kitchen, it would be useful to have someone who can also jump in to help with service when needed, or cover occasional FOH shifts. Let us know if this applies to you!


Essential

Food preparation experience / experience working in kitchen

Attention to detail

Fluent English speaker

Love chocolate!

Preferable

Barista/FOH experience

Have level 2 food hygiene cert

Love of food

Interest in sustainability and ethical sourcing


Hours

Part time 14-24 hours per week, over 3 days including weekends.

There is potential for these hours to increase at a later date.


The cafe is in Islington, open 8.30am-4.30pm , weekdays, 9am weekends.


Start date asap.



BARISTA


Barista experience, good customer service skills and fluent spoken English essential.

High volume event / festival experience preferable.


Dates 26th June - 1st July 2019


Hours:

We need you to arrive by Wednesday pm and work until Sunday evening / Monday morning. Expect an average of 10 hours work/day. If the festival is less busy than expected, we will pay for minimum 6 hours/day. If really busy we may ask you to work up to 12 hours/day.

The stall is open 8am – 3am and shifts will be any time within these hours – we are a team of 5 and we usually do one of the late nights each.

We expect to have to adjust hours during the event so some flexibility is required.


Transport:

We can offer a lift there/back from London leaving on the Mondays, if you are free to come on the Monday then we can offer some hours help with setting up and shifts on the Wednesday. Otherwise you will have to arrange transport (we may be able to help with arrangements).


We provide: as much coffee/cake from our stall as you like.

We don't provide: tent, sleeping bags, mats, food.

We try to arrange hours around things people want to see if possible, but not guaranteed.
